BMW 1 Series Review

German automaker Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) AG (Bavarian Motor Works in English) was founded in 1916. BMW is also the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. In India the company has presently ten offering ranging from sedan, convertible, coupe, roadster to SUVs. To name a few BMW offerings include BMW 3, BMW 5, BMW 6, BMW 7, BMW X1, BMW X5, BMW X6, BMW Gran Turismo, BMW Z4 and BMW M.

BMW 1 Series is a small car by BMW and was first introduced in 2004 in the world. In India, the hatchback will be the first small car offering by the German car company. Out of the five different body styles including three-door, five-door, convertible, coupe and an electric version, it is expected that BMW will probably introduce either the three-door or five-door version in India. It is also quite a possibility that both the three door and five door versions of the BMW 1 Series will be unveiled in India. The BMW 1 series launch in India is expected to be scheduled this September. The archrivals of BMW 1 series in the luxury car market in India would be Mercedes Benz and Audi. The BMW 1 Series price in India is expected to be around Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 Lakh.
